"I would love to see you again. You have a true gift, Inga, and I am blessed beyond words to have met you. Your spirit and heart are so full of love and compassion, you made me feel so comfortable and safe in your care. I will never forget it." ---L., who came in for perimenopausal issues, depression, and anxiety
"In my 15 years of seeking massage therapy and bodywork, I have rarely met another therapist who not only expresses Inga's level of technical skill as a cranio-sacral therapist, but also her equally high level of compassion and empathy. When you're in Inga's hands, you know you're going to be all right. First, through her words, actions, and movements, Inga projects kindness, competence, understated confidence, and intelligence. She has a warm smile, and an approachable, pure quality about her, so I feel like I can say or ask anything, and she will draw on her years of practice and study in order to give me the most in-depth, thoughtful, honest response. She can explain this lesser-mainstream modality in a way that is understandable and applicable. But beyond technical prowess, Inga is a highly sensitive individual, so not only does she intellectually command the subject matter in which she works, she listens with an open heart- as a fellow human. Her unique approach encompasses touch, visualization, and dialogue. The end result is a deeper sense of achievement than I have ever experienced through any other therapeutic modality. Inga is one of those people who is doing exactly what she was put on Earth to do, and her passion for her work, and the effectiveness of her work, is evidence of that." ---C., a young mother searching for inner calm and purpose
"The days after a new baby is born are full of laughter, tears, joys and anxieties. When I brought Elizabeth home from the hospital, I was physically recovering from a vaginal birth and emotionally preparing myself to be a mother to two children. I am so grateful that Inga was there from the very beginning of our time at home to help with my healing, emotionally and physically, as well as aiding Elizabeth with her transition to the world outside of my womb.
Inga was amazingly supportive and intuitive in her work with Elizabeth and myself. She eased my physical discomforts after the birth and provided me with exercises to further help my recovery. I felt safe and secure during my sessions with her. Several weeks after the birth, I began to experience heightened anxiety. Inga was instrumental in helping me achieve grounding and reducing my symptoms: accelerated heart rate, racing thoughts, sleeplessness and illogical worries.
Elizabeth had a difficult transition to the outside world. She had problems latching onto my breast and onto a bottle. She was often sleepy and lethargic and did not use both sides of her body evenly. Inga worked with her to re-create her birth experience and aided in stretching and loosening her neck muscles. She also helped Elizabeth learn how to suckle more effectively through cranial work. I owe any success I had with breastfeeding and subsequent bottle-feeding to Inga and her superb work with Elizabeth.
A month after the birth, Elizabeth was diagnosed with acid reflux. She was extremely uncomfortable during and after feedings. Inga worked wonders with her, gently helping her align her body and doing more craniosacral work. After one particular session, Elizabeth was notably calmer, her eyes were open wider and she had brightness about her that I had never seen before. She began eating more consistently and sleeping better for naps and at night.
I highly recommend that new mothers and their babies visit Inga and have craniosacral work done to help with healing and adjustment after birth. I know that Elizabeth and I have benefited greatly from Inga’s loving and gentle work with both our bodies and our spirits. Elizabeth is now six months old, and she and I are both doing wonderfully. Thank you, Inga; for all that you have done for us!" ---M, a mother in Vienna, VA
